Speakable Child Project Vietnam 2019 is on!

Vietnam is a developing country which still faces some struggles to ensure quality of life and happiness to some of its inhabitants. In contrast with such remarkable natural beauties and cultural products from Arts, Gastronomy and History, there is also high rates in poverty, insalubrity and illiteracy. As well as it happens in many other countries, charities and corporate social responsibility initiatives are performed towards Vietnamese communities in order to keep environmental and cultural assets while develops the population’s potential for a better future.

Speakable shares this same commitment by assuming some of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) designed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030. Here is how Speakable is part of this global:

    • Goal #1: No Poverty. Speakable is engaged in creating balance in citizens’ finances, applying fair prices, negotiating fair relationships with suppliers and contributing to charities such as Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.
Goal #4: Quality Education. The team of SLPs and Case Manager are completely engaged in using the best teaching-learning techniques to provide effective and involving sessions to all clients.
Goal #17: Partnerships for the Goals. Through the Sub-Goal #17-5 (Invest in Least Developed Countries), initiatives such as the Speakable Child Project Vietnam 2019 aim to provide better conditions for kids from poor areas to study and have a potentially better quality of life while growing.
  • The mission delegation comprised by Speakable staff members will spend the week between September 29 to October 8, 2019 in Hanoi, visiting Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, observing and helping out where the delegation is able to. The mission delegation will also visit local schools, orphanages and teach English.

However, Speakable’s interest on contributing to Vietnamese individuals is targeted for the Australian territory as well. In 2016, Speakable teamed up with Central Queensland University to create a 10-week program aimed at improving English pronunciation for Vietnamese speakers. The program is well-researched and specifically tailored to the difficulties that Vietnamese speakers face whilst learning English as a Second Language. It is designed for the individuals who have previously participated in General English courses or have prolonged (over 5 years) experience learning English. This program will help customers speak English with clarity and fluency. Being able to communicate well will create more success in personal and work life. In case you know someone interested or who would be highly benefitted by this program, do not hesitate on contacting us!
