Halloween activities for kids

The end of October is an amazing opportunity for children to have fun because of Halloween and all the supernatural aura that it involves. We have prepared a list of great activities to engage children into speech and language, check it out:

  • Review Halloween vocabulary and phonograms with the names of common Halloween costumes and elements. A fun and cute video to exercise such words if this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1yGXu9K7aw
  • Halloween Bingo. Children love games and keywords can be used as a bingo, just like the one you can download by clicking here.
  • Retell a Halloween Story. You can inspire the child into telling or retelling a Halloween story. A good storytelling map can be accessed here.
  • Halloween games. You can play through Google Docs two games: the Pumpkin Game (by clicking here) and Trick or Treat (by clicking here). Another electronic game is based on PowerPoint again regarding to Trick or Treat, just click here.
